Blueprint have experience in the design, assessment and construction management of Aircraft docking systems and hangar structures. Blueprint were engaged by Air New Zealand to review one of their old tail docking structures for modifications to suit the new B787 Dreamliner. We initially completed a pre-trial fit assessment to ensure the aircraft could safely be taxied into the hangar and we were subsequently involved in the trial fit of the aircraft to investigate the extent and nature of likely dock modifications. Our work has since included preliminary analysis of various aircraft fit profiles and scoping extent of docking modification.
